Hazardex Awards 2027 – Call for Nominations now open!
The nomination period for the industry's most prestigious awards ceremony is now OPEN! The expanded Hazardex Awards 2027 will consist of six categories. Nominating is completely FREE, and you can even put your own company or clients forward for the chance to be shortlisted*.
The awards are the ideal opportunity to reward those companies and products that you think are most deserving of industry recognition, so nominate NOW!
The Hazardex Awards programme has long been an industry benchmark for those supplying products, services and systems within hazardous areas. They are the ideal way to help raise awareness and standards across the sector by highlighting and rewarding those providing the most innovative products and services.
The Awards will be presented following an informal, very well attended Gala Dinner in the evening of Day 1 at Hazardex Live 2027 where delegates, speakers, and exhibitors network over a three-course meal and drinks.
The Hazardex Live events are widely recognised as the most important global events specific to hazardous area operations across all major industries. Together with the Conference and Exhibition, the Gala Dinner and Awards evening help strengthen and expand the community that looks to the Hazardex website and journal for industry intelligence and information.

A product, system or service which has made a significant contribution to safety in hazardous area environments.
Category 2 – Technical Innovation

An innovative product or system for use in hazardous area environments.
Category 3 – Net Zero Innovation

An innovation for hazardous environments that helps lower emissions and carbon footprints.
Category 4 – Customer Service
Sponsored by DNV
A company or corporate division that has provided excellent customer service in the sector over the last two years.

Rules of Entry
You can nominate* the same company, product, or service for as many of the categories as they are relevant for, or you can put forward different entrants for whichever categories you choose.
(A separate form will need to be submitted for each entry)
As well as celebrating product manufacturers and service providers, our new categories of Plant Upgrade & Innovation and Safety Record of the Year are the perfect opportunity to also reward end users and operators, helping them gain recognition for their vital safety work.
How to nominate, rules* & deadline
Nominating is completely FREE and you are allowed to put forward your own products, services, and company for any of the categories. Why not put forward a long-standing customer or supplier that you think deserves recognition?
Nominations must have made a significant contribution in the relevant area within hazardous area operations or a high hazard process industry over the last two years.
The deadline for nominations is 30 October after which Hazardex readers and website users will be asked to vote for the winners in each category.
* You can self-nominate your company/organisation, however if successful in your nomination, you are not permitted to vote for your own company/organisation
